Position Title:   Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM Analyst

Contract Duration: 12-Month Contract-to-Hire

Work Location: Virginia Beach

Employment: Onsite (100%)

We are seeking a Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM Analyst for a client in Virginia Beach! This role’s key focus will be to support, enhance, and govern the   existing   Dynamics 365 CRM platform across Sales, Customer Service, and Field Service. This role partners closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, secure solutions while driving adoption, data integrity, and measurable business outcomes.  

Required Skills & Qualifications  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems , Business, Computer Science, or   a related   field (or equivalent experience).  

  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate (PL-200) --  validates Dataverse, model-driven apps, Power Automate, environments, ALM, and stakeholder enablement  

  • Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant certifications (MB role-based exams) aligned to focus area (Sales, Customer Service, or Field Service) preferred.  
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and the Power Platform.  
  • Hands-on experience with Power Automate flows, environments, solutions, and ALM practices.  

  • Proven business analysis, requirements gathering, and stakeholder engagement skills -  Ability to translate business processes and process maps into effective CRM system designs.  

  • Experience with CRM integrations (first-party connectors, REST/OData, iPaaS) and data migration concepts.  

  • Solid understanding of CRM governance, including security roles, teams, business units, auditing, and   environment   strategy.  

Other good skills to have:

  • Exposure to   Customer Insights and Omnichannel (voice/chat) capabilities for Customer Service.  
  • Experience with Power BI reporting, Dynamics 365 dashboards, and KPI design for sales and service operations.  

  • Field Service configuration experience (work orders, assets, resource scheduling, mobile).  

  • Familiarity with solution architecture concepts across Dynamics CRM/ERP and the Power Platform.  

 

Key Responsibilities for this role include: 

  • Lead discovery workshops to gather requirements, map end-to-end processes (lead-to-cash, case management, work order lifecycle), and define measurable outcomes and KPIs.  

  • Configure and administer Dynamics 365 Sales, Customer Service, and Field Service , including tables/entities, forms, views, business rules, SLAs, entitlements, queues, routing, and model-driven apps.  

  • Build and   maintain   secure Power Automate cloud flows ; support integrations using Dataverse/Dynamics 365 connectors, REST/OData APIs, and iPaaS solutions while following ALM best practices.  

  • Model data in Microsoft Dataverse   and implement role-based security (teams, business units); enforce governance for environments, auditing, compliance, and releases.  

  • Support data migration activities, including mapping, transformation, validation, and verification.  

  • Manage backlogs, testing, release notes, and solution documentation;   participate   in change control and CAB processes.  

  • Develop documentation, deliver training, support user adoption, and iterate based on feedback and analytics.  

  • Continuously evaluate new Dynamics 365 and Power Platform   capabilities and recommend enhancements aligned to business value.
